Truckee made the trek across Nevada in 2021 to take on the Spartans. Truckee dominated the Spartans 39-11 and it really could have been worse. Dylan Sumner had a big game, as did the Truckee defense. Max Ellermeyer had a pick 6 as Truckee rolled up Spring Creek. Julian Hall also had a big game throwing 3 TD’s in this game. Spring Creek does return many of their Lineman but otherwise graduated quite a bit of talent. Though Spring Creek does return their QB Weston Peterson and one of their top athletes Johnny Slade. The Spartans will make the travel out to Truckee this season where the Wolverines will try to duplicate their performance from 2021.
