The Greenwave has been one of the top teams in the North since dropping down to the 3A. Last year they had their share of struggles but did manage to bear North Vally’s in the playoffs and make the travel South in the Semi Final matchup with Moapa. Fallon did graduate some of their size and several really good athletes including their QB and top receiver. They also graduated their linebacker core and several DB’s. This, however, should not prevent them from putting together another strong team in 2022. Fallon always has size and speed. Truckee did handle the Greenwave in 2021 beating them at their house 21-6. Julian Hall lead the Wolverines to victory in 2022 and will look to do the same when the Greenwave makes their way to Truckee this fall. Truckee also had a strong performance from their defense in 2021 and they will need to replicate that again if they are to beat the Greenwave for the second year in a row.
