Coach Mohun played high school football and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco. He started his coaching career at Truckee High School in 1993 at the Junior Varsity Level under Coach Ron Estabrook. He continued to coach the Truckee JV’s throughout the Mid-90’s. Coach Mohun moved out of the area and coached at Archbishop Riordan in San Francisco and later returned to Truckee in 2003. He resumed his coaching career under Coach Shaffer and Coach Ivens. Coach Mohun has had a great influence on all age levels from Freshman to Varsity. Tom has enjoyed being the Head Coach of the Truckee High School Junior Varsity team from 2005 to 2022. In 2023 Tom switched his talents to a varsity role helping with the O-Line . He credits Coach Bob Shaffer and Coach Josh Ivens for their vision and inspiration.
