Riley is a Truckee alumni from the class of 2006. He was a Defensive End and played on the first ever back2back state championship team for the Wolverines in the ‘04 and ‘05 seasons. He then went to College of the Siskiyous and played Outside Linebacker for 2 years before coming back home. There was a burning desire to play more. He couldn’t hang up the cleats just yet. There was an itch that needed itchin’. So he reached out to the Semi-Pro football team based in Reno, NV and shortly after became a starter for the team. Riley played 7 years of semi pro football as a Defensive End from (2013 to 2019) where he was on multiple teams including Silver State Stallions, Nevada Deam, and Nevada Battleborn. Out of those years he was a captain for 4 and invited to the Semi Pro All Star Bowl 2 times. One of the teams he played with was fierce enough to win the Pacific Coast Football Alliance Championship with a 13-0 record. Riley loves teaching kids everything he knows about the sport of football, but more importantly, loves to teach them about life.
Riley’s family includes his spouse Devin and children Nathan, Kyle, Ashlyn, Greyson and baby boy Emmett.
Here’s to the best program around! Go Truckee!!!
