Coach Schlesinger had an amazing playing career at Truckee under coach Shaffer. Schlesinger was the starting QB from 2000-2002. In his 3 seasons as the starting QB he broke several school records and NIAA passing records. He is Truckee’s All-Time leading passer. He led the 2001 team to a State Championship and took the Wolverines back to the Championship in 2002 but Truckee fell short. Schlesinger brings a wealth of knowledge at the QB position and he also was the punter for Truckee. He came onto the coaching staff during the Covid era making an immediate impact with Juilan Hall who would go on to lead Truckee to a State Title in 2022. The Wolverines are lucky to have coach Schlesinger on staff.
