Coach Bennett grew up in Northern California and was a multi-sport athlete at Kelseyville High School. He went to College of the Siskiyous and played Offensive Tackle from 1989-1991. He transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno in the summer of 1993 and began working on his degree. With his degree and teaching credential completed in 1999, he moved back to California and began his teaching and coaching career. Coach Bennett began teaching at Truckee High School in 2013. He was an assistant under Coach Josh Ivens from 2013-2016 before stepping away to spend more time with his family. This will be Coach Bennett’s 3rd year as the head JV coach. He is honored to be a part of such a proud Truckee Program.
