Thank you for your continued support of our schools, students, and community.
Our students have truly benefited from your previous generosity and
thoughtfulness. With that in mind, I would like to solicit a donation towards the
renovation of the THS weight room. It has been 27 years since the weight room
has been fully updated and we want it to match the rest of our collegial school.
The THS weight room is a proper classroom used by all students. Over 500
students use the room and materials daily. Our Physical Education and Strength
classes are some of the most popular in our school and promote healthy living for
all of our students as well as providing the building blocks and competitive edge
for our student athletes. TTUSD and Truckee High School would like to partner
with you as a community organization/company to support this upgrade. We
would like to honor your organization’s donation with the placement of a donor’s
recognition banner/sign mounted to the wall of our updated space.
The total cost of the project is $170,000. This includes new flooring and new
equipment. We have solidified all but $40,000 of the needed funds. We are
looking to close the gap via community donations. Anything that can be donated
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering this opportunity.
